Hello, my name is Jeff Gedgaud and I am freelance writer living in Moorhead, Minnesota.
I started writing a few years ago and have worked hard at giving you, my readers, accurate and precise information about the products I review.
I review computer games, software and hardware as well as consumer electronics, tools and kitchen gadgets.
I review my products from the perspective of whether I would buy the item or not and rate my review according to how good I think the product is. I review the items as if I was purchasing them and had little to no knowledge about the item as many of you may have.
Much of my knowledge in computers comes from actual hands on work and learning by actually using the product and reading about it from the internet. I have had some background in electronics and electricity but most of my computer knowledge I have learned by sitting at home behind the keyboard and screen.
I approach all my reviews with the same gusto and love of tinkering as well as a frugal attitude toward purchases. I want to find out if the purchase you are wanting to make will be one that you will not regret and write my reviews toward this goal.
One additional note about my reviews, many of my reviews are in the higher ratings for a final score. This is not because I think everything I get is great or fantastic, it is merely because I ask for things that I want and think would be good. I do all my own public relations with the companies and do a lot of searching to find things I not only would like to review but things I think many of you would be interested in.
Because I do my own contacting with the companies that make these products I ask for what I want and very seldom get sent things I have not asked for, but am always willing to take a look at almost anything. Due to this many of my ratings are a bit higher than you would expect as I really do not ask for things that are not things I want in the first place.
