Campbell Hausfeld Compressor

The nailer kit that comes with the 2 gallon compressor is a nice all around household and small job tool that can handle jobs like putting up signs, tacking down shingles or roofing materials and even repairing furniture. Try putting together one of those inexpensive shelf units with the cardboard back and use the air nailer to fasten down that backing in half the time.
The staples and nails the kit comes with are a good size for around the house use and will last quite awhile unless you're doing some big jobs. You can also purchase the replacement nails and staples at many home improvement stores like Lowes and Home Depot. They have a wide variety of staple sizes as well as nails and brads for many different jobs like furniture repair, screening for windows and roofing repairs.
The nailer/stapler works very well for all the jobs I tried it on and is a simple to use and very safe tool that operates at about 85 Psi but you can vary the pressure for different depths of nailing. The nailer comes with the safety feature of having to push the tip down against something and pulling the trigger in order for it to fire. The magazine is easy to load and holds about a hundred nails or staples and has the convenient holder on the side of the air tank for easy storage.
Using the compressor is as easy as ensuring the bottom water drain is closed and plugging the compressor in and then turning it on. The two gauges are for the tank pressure and the hose pressure you want to use that is adjusted by the middle knob. The big knob for adjusting the hose pressure is easy to use and the entire process of pumping the tanks to their full capacity is pretty quick.
Although the compressor is loud you can still use it in confined spaces like indoors in a house if you don't mind a little noisy work environment. This is not a compressor for use indoors like the workshop without hearing protection if you're going to be close to the compressor and you should use safety glasses or goggles whenever using power tools or air compressor tools for your own protection.
The compressor has enough power to inflate several bike tires and other inflatables or I drove in about twenty staples on that slat fence before I had to plug the compressor back in. I tried a little experiment and found that it works handy as a portable repair device for mending fences or stapling up signs like garage sale signs. You can easily plug the compressor in at home to fill the tanks and go to the corner to tack up a few signs or carry the tank to the front of the house and fix that decorative fence.
