One of the biggest problems in website design is broken links and finding them as well as fixing them is made very simple by the check for broken links feature. Once the program finds all the errors you can go from one to the next and correct them from the results section that pops up under the page to show you the results and help you fix the problems.
Another great feature of Dreamweaver is the use of Photoshop CS3 that seamlessly adds and edits photos as long as you have purchased Photoshop CS3 as well as Dreamweaver. Both programs allow for easy image editing within either program so you do not have to leave one to go to the other and open, close, minimize and so forth between each program. When you want to edit a photo you can just right click the image or go to the edit menu when you have previously clicked on the image and go right to the Photoshop editor. Once the image has been edited you simply click save and it will be saved right back into Dreamweaver for you.
This integration adds to the functionality and nice easy use of both programs to create your website. Another great feature is the use of complex web site features that you can easily learn and use for more advance website functions. Adding programs like Photoshop, Flash and Illustrator can be done in the future simply by purchasing the programs and adding them to Dreamweaver for seamless integratation just like Photoshop CS3 has done for me.
Simple integration and several other already installed features for other website building tools from Adobe make this a great feature filled suite of web design tools. The ease of being able to start right in on your own website with the fully featured program that allows for future expansion and all the really creative functions you can use in the future make Dreamweaver CS3 a great buy.
One of the very best features of a really large program that so many people use is there are so many free tutorials and help sites out there on the internet for you to use. Adobe has a forum, tutorials and videos that will help but a good set of free tutorials that are from people just like me who use the program and know the common problems that come with it from a users perspective can also be readily found on the internet.
