On the objects insertion you can add objects like furniture, landscaping and construction objects easily and edit the objects by double clicking them. There are hundreds of objects and a very good variety for some like cabinets but not too many appliances.
I found there were plenty to add in to figure out placement of objects and furniture so you have a nice idea of how rooms will look which is all you really need. The variety of cabinets makes for a great way to create the perfect kitchen and other rooms for a great design project.
Once you have your walls and furniture you can roof your project with the very simple automatic roof or adjust pitches, roof designs and heights using the roof tools. There are some really nice and simple tools with all the objects and parts of the home with ARCON 3D Architect that it makes most jobs very simple.
The object properties tool allows you to edit objects as well as showing them in a 3 dimensional view so you can rotate the object to see the various sides. Using this properties box you can roof your house or project and rotate the building to choose various sides to change properties.
Once you have the side you want to alter you can choose from a selection of roof angles and types to change how the roof is for that side. You then go to the next side and alter it to your liking until all the sides are finished, you can also change overhang, height and angles of the roof plane. This allows you to change any roof types side by side for an easy solution to different roof types on varied buildings.
You can view your project in one of four modes; top down in construction mode, top down color or black & white and 3 dimensional perspective view in design mode. Each mode allows you to alter different things like construction mode allows you to add walls and other building parts while design mode allows you to change things around and move objects.
The ARCON 3D program allows you to add things to your project like landscaping but in a simplified way but you can alter the ground with height and features. The program allows you to set height and features of the terrain for your building site as a starting point for your building to get the ground and elevations correct.
You also have the handy Title Block that is required for blueprints and architectural drawings so you have all your information in one spot. The ARCON 3D Architect includes a recordable 3D walkthrough where you move a camera around the home to view it from a person or any other perspective.
This recordable camera view really gives you an idea of how your project will look from a realistic perspective and how you cannot imagine but see your project will turn out in real life. This is how you really want to design things so you can actually look at your new home or even a remodeling project to look at the design and see if it will work for you.
The ARCON 3D Architect has a lot of features like window and door designing, video tutorials, drawings for plans, import and export for 3DS objects and much more. The ARCON 3D Architect is a great feature filled software package that works very well for home designing.
I highly recommend the ARCON 3D Architect for a great product that has plenty of features; this is a full design program and is export and printer friendly. You can print on separate pages for full plans or send to a file or disc and take to a printer to get your plans in blueprint form ready to build your dream home.
