Jim Breuer Let's Clear The Air

Jim Breuer may not be everyone’s idea of a great comedian but he does have what it takes to bring a laugh from anyone with his down to earth and right on target hilarity.

Jim Breuer Let's Clear The Air

Jim Breuer of Half Baked fame does not have to let his hair down to get to the meat of comedy with his take on parenting, his Half Baked past and more. Jim Breuer may look like he’s half baked all the time but his comedy is spot on for much of his routine and is really funny.

The Let’s Clear The Air Comedy Central special is a 70 minute Jim Breuer routine where he talks about his family such as why you should always let your spouse get enough sleep and how kids seek out death just to keep you on your toes. He continues with a little history of his past films like Half Baked and his Saturday Night Live past as well as his goat sounds and how he came up with them.

He also does some great impressions of Sylvester Stallone and others for a few quick minutes of laughs at the expense of his dad. The extra features also contain a few laughs with Jim and his dad as they have a few laughs together for a couple of minutes.

Jim Breuer for the most part is one of those real life based material comedians who use their own life and events that everyone can see is funny for much of his material. His routine is a welcome approach to comedy as it tells life like it is and uses everyday events and parenting in general as what we all know but with a new look.

He uses his past as well and how he does look like he is stoned as his great break into comedy and a few choice moments in his life with Dave Chappelle. His 70 minute routine is pretty good with only a few moments of not hitting that out loud laugh level that is the general theme of the show.

The extras include the couple of minute chat with his 85 year old father, not much here as how much can an old man talk with him but he does get a few laughs with his father. He also includes a photo shoot for the DVD that is interesting but not really funny in a premise to the show and how they take the pictures for the advertising.

The extra content will be a onetime thing and nothing more but his routine is definitely worth a revisit time and again. Jim Breuer Let’s Clear The Air is a funny look at everyday life of a parent as well as a look at Jims break into comedy and well worth the price of admission.
