Take the idea of a blob of goo like cleaner and use it to get at those hard to reach places on vents, keyboards and remotes and you have a hit product. Cyber Clean is just what you would imagine it, a blob of cleaner that feels just like those concoctions dreamed up to entertain kids that cleans hard to reach places.
My wife has spent years trying out formulas and kids concoctions for entertaining kids at her day care and at various youth activities like Cub Scouts and 4-H. Elmer’s White Glue and borax or corn starch and water plus others to make a goo that is quite similar to Cyber Clean but does not work like Cyber Clean does.
Cyber Clean is a thick semi liquid that is a goo or blob of cleaner that you press to your devices like keyboards, remotes and even car vents to grab the dust and crumbs. Cyber Clean is slightly tacky and will grab onto the dust, dirt and crumbs but not adhere to the plastic, metal and glass of your device.
The goo molds and shapes to various surfaces including indents and protrusions like around keys on a keyboard to get at the dust and dirt. It works, and it works very well at getting dust and dirt from your devices even between keys but it doesn’t get way deep down.

The goo of Cyber Clean can be pushed between keys and buttons but on a regular keyboard they do not quite reach the bottom of the keys. I found it works great for getting keyboards and remotes clean and really does a great job of cleaning in between the keys and other contours.
Before finding Cyber Clean my usual method for cleaning remotes and keyboards was wipes and brushes that would do a decent job but I still wanted to get them even cleaner. I sometimes used cotton swabs or even cheese cloth on a ruler to scrub out those gaps but these methods took time, Cyber Clean is easier.
Simply open the recloseable container or pouch and squish or roll around your device getting it pushed between rows of keys and buttons to grab the dust and crumbs. Cyber Clean really does a great job of getting stuff out from between keys and buttons as well as not leaving residues behind and it kills germs.
The goo that is Cyber Clean does not leave anything behind and has a slight mint scent for the version I received, the blue on in a pouch, plus it kills germs and disinfects. I have used it on all my keyboards, several remotes and even my digital camera and around the areas on my console systems to really get at the dust.
Cyber Clean works great to get dust and dirt from vent slats on cars where it takes a lot more time using cotton swabs or plain rags. Cyber Clean can be used dozens and dozens of times and turns a different color when it is mixed up with dust and dirt after many uses.
When it has changed a dirtier color, a chart is on back of package to compare, you simply throw it away, it’s biodegradable and only costs about $8 to $10 for the smaller pouch. Cyber Clean is a great way to clean electronics, remotes and even vents on cars and dashboards that works very well to get at hard to reach places.
