Beer Savers make a great way to keep that frosty beverage fresh and bubbly till you get a chance to enjoy the rest of it. Marketed as a way to keep beer fresh when you can't or don't want to finish a full bottle the Beer Saver works equally well on sodas and other beverages in bottles.
Beer Savers are made from silicone and as you would expect fit snuggly over the flange of bottle tops with a lip inside the Beer Saver that fits the flange of glass bottles. The lip of the Beer Saver also fits the screw on type of glass bottle but not quite as well as the pop off type with the flange.
Beer Savers are made from stretchable silicone and are designed in six colors as well as sold in those six packs for a great party favor. This would make a fantastic party gift for those events that just beg for a fun and useful gift to the host.
I received a six pack of Beer Savers and used them several times on the various types of pop bottles and found no problems using them at all. The Beer Savers keep soda very fresh for the most part even in those twist off cap bottles.
I used Beer Savers without any problems and the soda was almost as good as the freshly opened bottle but of course you always lose some carbonation when first opening. The sodas I tried had no problem with staying pretty fresh over night using the Beer Savers and even the twist off bottles worked well with the Beer Savers design.
I did not try any beer bottles as I do not drink beer but the bottle designs are the same so whether its beer, soda or even those newer types of drinks like Mike's Hard Lemonade in bottles the Beer Savers should work just fine. The various colors also help identify which beer or beverage is yours when you toss one into the fridge for later.
Beer Savers make a great way to keep those larger bottles like 40 ounce beers for later consumption but you may not find much use for them if your an avid beer drinker and you usually finish yours. I found the Beer Savers bottle caps in ingenious product and would find a useful and convenient way to keep beverages for later consumption if you find the need for them.
I can also think of a few uses like those beers you use for cooking or other smaller bottles of beverages that you only use some of for cooking. Kids also like soda and for small kids that drink some of a bottle of those specialty soda's they will enjoy being able to keep part of a bottle for later.
I did not find any Beer Savers in local stores but they are available from several website son the internet as well as BeerSavers.com. Beer Savers are a great way to keep those bottled beverages fresh for later consumption and cost about $12 for the six pack online.
