Aion PC

Aion is not just another massive multiplayer role playing game with its great graphics using the Crysis Engine and very customizable gaming. Aion is a massive multiplayer role playing game that has the usual clans and split between good and evil with the also typical role playing features of levels and classes.

Aion is developed and published by NCsoft, a Korean gaming developer and publisher that has already released the game in Korea and now brings it to the US. One benefit of the games prior launch in another country is the bugs have been worked out so the game is much more stable and many bugs are fixed already.

Aion has you play either a good or evil character from the same world area with your first choice meaning the gameplay and type of environments you are going to be in for most of your gaming. Choosing the good will put you mostly in bright sun filled lands except for the dark and sometimes torch lit underground adventuring with the evil being in the bleaker and less sunny lands.

The game starts off with the usual character customization from facial features and clothing but does not end there with you constantly being able to customize weapons and equipment. During gaming you can actually change item graphics so they look like something else but do the damage and have other characteristics of the real one you earned or received.

You start off doing the usual quests and fighting smaller, less harmful monsters and you work your way up to the bigger harder ones during your quests. You will find leveling up as rewarding here as other MMO games with the usual perks of better weapons and easier times with things like movement due to the use of flight.

Aion has some other unique features including the use of flight here and there but it really boils down to a better looking but albeit typical role playing game online where you work your way up toward higher levels doing quests. Aion is a fun game and looks great but you do have to enjoy MMORPG games to stick with them and this one is no exception.

The graphics look great and the Crysis engine is probably a good part of that but attention to detail and a lot of work also helped out. The effects are wonderful and textures are well done but you can only have so much when you’re talking about a whole world that you can explore.

They have done a great job of using the areas you can and cannot enter as well as flight to create a believable world that you can explore and find great adventures as well as great peril in. Aion is one of the best MMO games I have played and fun for exactly what it is but it does have the typical role playing game quests that you need to accomplish to level up.

Aion also has some great player versus player gaming in a player arena called the Abyss but one of the main areas this game also excels at is the leveling. During gameplay when you level up you can open up new character areas by training in different areas and branching out with your character.

Adding different classes to the main character slightly alters your character in the usual ways such as a scout moving toward assassin or ranger. The classes and further breakdown is also typical of MMO games but the customization of items is also a great addition.

You can collect items as base materials for your tradecraft and when you level up enough you can craft various items and weapons based on your class and level. This means you can not only buy weapons and equipment but make many items you would otherwise have to purchase or find on quests.

Aion also has some great battles in quests where you do find all that treasure and get plenty of experience but it ends up being much like other MMO games that are well done. Aion is a fun game and well worth owning for MMORPG fanatics as it does cover some new ground and plenty of new features.

Aion does have the same kind of quest leveling that other MMO games have but in the end it does pretty much the same as other MMO games but with plenty of flair and fun.
