The ImpactV frame has a memory of 512 megabytes and can hold a few dozen pictures depending on image quality and size but you should get plenty because the email program at See Frame automatically resizes pictures for you. I have about twenty pictures that I did resize some but not all that much and they fit just fine on the frame and have really good quality.
The 8 inch frame does a great job of showing off the digital pictures and the various slideshow settings moving from one picture to the next make it a unique way to display family photos. The frame would also be a great way to highlight events like birthday parties, anniversaries or graduations, this would make an excellent present for anyone that you could fill with pictures and give not only the frame but the images as well.

The remote control is a small handy way to control the frame and use the various settings and menus that makes the ImpactV frame easy to use.
Once pictures are on the frame you can actually download them to a computer by connecting a USB mini-B cable from the frame to your computer and simply copy the pictures from the file folder. The frame shows up on my computer as a regular hard drive or USB drive and you can simply navigate to the Web folder where the pictures are to upload your own or download the ones sent to the frame.
This way if someone does send photos and you want to keep them you can simply transfer them to a computer and pick and choose which ones you want to display on the frame using a computer. When sending pictures by email the website automatically optimizes the pictures down to the appropriate size for the frame. I found this out by comparing the pictures I had sent and seeing that the pictures had been resized from what I sent.
If you are going to be putting pictures directly onto the frame you should resize them to get the most space on the frame but I found it doesn’t matter that much as long as your pictures are about 4:3 aspect ratio. If the pictures you are using are wider than this 4 by 3 aspect ratio the frame itself will add black bars on top and bottom and ensure the width of the picture is the frames width.
To organize or remove pictures you should go to the See Frame website and log into your account where you can organize, delete pictures and videos and setup your frame. You can even create playlists using the account that anyone with your account username and password can use for real across the country access.
