The Airport Addicted V 2.0 is your next generation carry-on legal bag for all your photo equipment needs whether you’re traveling across the country as a professional photographer or going to the local park as an amateur. The Airport Addicted V 2.0 converts from a general carry on case for all your gear to a backpack with full shoulder and waist belt straps that is very comfortable.
While the Addicted V 2.0 is not your travel backpack for those long treks in the woods it does make for a nice way to travel and use as a backpack if you need to. I did try some walking around town and the case as a backpack is very comfortable but not quite made as a fulltime backpack. The addicted holds a lot of gear and easily took two Canon DSLR cameras with 35mm and 200mm lenses, two more lenses, a flashes and plenty of other gear.
The Addicted V2.0 is the newest line of Airport bags that have plenty of room for your gear for those airplane trips as well as the convenience of being able to quickly whip out the backpack straps, strap the pack on your back and get to your next destination. I can easily see this bag for all those odd destinations where having the convenience of a backpack for your gear but in a strong and nicely padded case to protect all the contents would come in very handy.
The Airport Addicted V 2.0 comes with several dividers so you can customize your own setup as well as the rain cover, straps for the tripod/monopod feature and a laptop case. The laptop case is a nice padded case that easily fits a 15.4 inch laptop and can be used on its own or inside the front pocket of the Addicted. I have a couple of HP 17 inch laptops that are newer and they do not fit in the laptop case but do fit in the laptop case front section of the Addicted V 2.0 Front Pocket with another laptop case.

Even though I do not have a smaller laptop the laptop case is one that is nice for a 15.4 inch as it has a nice set of pockets for small books or your memory card folders in the front pocket. The top of the laptop case has a nice rounded handle and does have a shoulder carry strap that attaches on two of four metal loops on the case.
There are three small pockets for pens or pencils in the front pocket and a small Velcro strap for important things like keys on the inside by the larger pockets. It’s this thought for small pockets and four attach points for the shoulder strap of even the laptop case that shows they have put a lot of thought and personal use into their products and it continues throughout all Think Tank products I have come across.
I have several laptop cases from other laptop bags and a 17 inch widescreen laptop in another case easily fits in the front pocket of the Addicted V 2.0 case. The Addicted V 2.0 is 21 inches tall, 14 inches wide and 8 inches deep with plenty of room for a good photo gear setup. The front pocket is an accordion design that accepts the cases I have for both a 15.4 inch and large 17 inch laptop easily.
The sides, top and bottom are about a half inch thick of padding for all your gear protection and the Addicted has the extra pocket room on the front for a laptop or other gear. The side of the Addicted V 2.0 has a spot where you can attach a monopod or tripod with straps in a few configurations so pretty much any stand will fit on the case.
There is a nice padded handle on two sides of the backpack case for carrying shorter distances and a thinner strap handle on the bottom of the case as well as the backpack strap arrangement for those longer treks. The shoulder straps and waist belt all tuck into flaps on the back of the case so they are hidden out of the way for use in travel and the waist belt is removable.

The flaps quickly open to get at the straps and waist belt as well as secure in place with Velcro for a nice system for keeping the straps out of the way when you need to. Other nice features are the wide arrangement and assortment of dividers included as well as the nice pockets on the inside front of the zippered case.
