The De’Longhi Café Nero is one of those all in one coffee makers, espresso and cappuccino machines that use the best pressure method to make your espressos. The machine is a nice all in one package that takes up a little more room than a regular coffee maker but is not like adding a whole new appliance to your kitchen counter.
De’Longhi has made several espresso and coffee machines with some very good but expensive ones used in homes as well as coffee shops. De’Longhi has its roots in a craftsman’s workshop building heating system components and then building on that solid foundation to branding their own products and diversifying into home heating ,cooling and cooking appliances.
The De’Longhi line of espresso machines use several methods to brew espresso from the French press to the pump method but I think the Café Nero uses the best pressure or pump method to brew an great cup of espresso.
Cappuccino is another great way to enjoy coffee and is really a simple matter of adding some steamed milk to your espresso. I have also come up with another method of making a rich almost hot chocolate drink that just replaces the milk with those flavored coffee creamers that make a rich full cup of cappuccino, even if it is not a sanctioned and authorized cappuccino drink.
