The AIRDRY Wine Glass Drying Rack from architec is the perfect solution to air drying those nice wine glasses without the risk of them hitting each other or the rack falling over. The architec rack is a great solution to risking your fine wine glasses in the dishwasher and air drying saves you the hassles of toweling them dry.
The AIRDRY comes in two pieces and secures by pressure to hold the top and bottom pieces together with a slotted hole and post with two protrusions. The AIRDRY holds four wine glasses of varying size and can easily hold rather large ones as the rack is 11 and a half inches from each holder to the table top.
Of course small water spots may be a problem depending on your water quality and the detergent you use for washing but when I checked out a few glasses on the review sample I received it worked just fine. The rack is a nice size for large glasses and works just as well for smaller ones with a nice rubber cushioned stem holder for four glasses.
The rack comes in two pieces for convenient storage when not in use and the base is rather large so you don’t have to worry about it tipping over. The rack works very well and is a nice alternative to drying them by hand or using a dishwasher.
Fine glassware like thin walled wine glasses may not be all that great to wash in the dishwasher and even trying to dry them by hand may be a bit of a risk. I have seen a glass get broken due to a hand inside the glass while drying and not paying attention to the care needed for a thin walled wine glass. And no, it was not me but I won’t rat out my own family, after all it was a long time ago.
Air drying your wine glasses means not having to worry about them once you take them out of the rinse cycle of your washing, just hang them up when you have rinsed and you’re done with them. The ease of use a simple device like this for something like a nice set of wine glasses means no hassles with your glassware and not having to worry about them getting dust inside while resting on the rack waiting for the next use.
