ZAGG invisibleSHIELD comes in full body and screen sizes for various devices depending on the device but all of the protectors have at least the screen protection. ZAGG has a line of screen and full body protectors for cell phones, game devices, media players, GPS units, iPods, laptops, PDA’s and watches.

Sansa's with invisbleSHIELD

Most of the devices have at least the screen protection or the full body protection depending on the device and some devices such as laptops or PDA’s will have various parts covered for protection. I received two protectors for the Sansa Fuze and Sansa View with the Fuze being a full bodied protector and the View being a screen protector.

The invisibleSHIELD material was developed for the military and is a rubber like plastic that adheres well to plastic and metal alike. It is tough as well as flexible for that perfect blend of protection for your electronics and has a simple way to apply it so you get it into the right position.

The screen protection of the invisibleSHIELD is a nice sized flat piece of protective film with an adhesive on one side that adheres to the surface you put it on. The unique application method consists of spraying your fingers and the film to prevent it from sticking to your fingers and fingerprints as you apply the film to the device.

While this may be a bit messy to apply you don’t spray your device, just yourself and the film when applying so you do not get the spray inside your MP3 player. The spray is just a lubricant to get the plastic film onto your device without it sticking so much that you can’t position it correctly.

I have several small gadgets with screens and the very first thing I do when I receive them after taking my product shots is slap a screen protector on it. I have been using a hard plastic film from Fellowes that does a really good job of protecting the screen but it goes on once and sticks.

This is good in that it will adhere well but if you miss position it the film may not be able to be moved for a better position, if you try to peel it off you may crack the plastic film. If you have ever worked with this type of screen protector you will know what I am talking about, that white seam or crack that happens when the plastic is stressed or bent.
