My son bought a couple dozen CD’s from the local library book sale that they were getting rid of and you can easily imagine the condition of some of these discs. People do not care much and the CD’s are often scratched heavily when they loan discs out from the library. He purchased them in hopes that many would still be readable and some were but others are totally unreadable by any CD player or computer.

I repaired about a dozen discs and my son cleaned the rest that he purchased and everyone was brought back to life when many were totally unreadable. I took several discs that my computer would literally eject at first read saying the disc was unreadable and after a cleaning or two the disc was just fine and played well on my computer and CD player.

Resevoir & Pump

Once you’re finished with the repair process you should clean out the machine so you do not clog up the pump, the little pump is much like ones used in fish tanks or table top water fountains. Simply pour out the polish into a closable container for later use and run clean warm water through the pump just like you repaired discs use and rinse out the pump. Drain the water out and wipe off the inside and outside for a nice clean machine, you really should take care of this unit as it will be a very nice and handy one to have when your discs do need repair.

The Disc-Go-Pod is truly a professional disc repair machine and even feels like one, this is no light weight cheap plastic machine that would break easily. This is a heavy duty but low cost for its type professional disc repair device that is reasonably inexpensive for its kind.
