I finally found the machine that will repair your discs and remove all those scratches and scuffs easily and in only a few minutes. Sure you have to do some work like pouring a little bottle of fluid into the small tank and placing the disc in the machine and keeping an eye on it.
You also have to clean the machine out which takes all of about three minutes and you have your shiny new disc from that scratched and scuffed up old one. The Disc-Go-Pod truly works like magic but not really, it really does the job it is supposed to so well that it will bring new life to those skipping and unreadable discs.
The Disc-Go-Pod really is easy to use and clean and only takes a few minutes to use and cleanup after and you can repair most any scratches and scuffs from your disc. I recently reviewed another product that really did not work well, but I also explained about a disc and how it is made.
You have a layer of material that the optical lens or laser shines on and reads information and a clear protective plastic over this on the bottom of your discs. This clear plastic coating is the part that usually gets scratched and this is the part you want to polish to get rid of the scratches.
This machine works with a very fine buffing pad that spins on the surface of the disc while a polishing compound liquid is flushed across the surface continually. This is exactly how to polish a disc and get a fine layer of the disc surface polished off the disc. In very broad terms it is extremely lightly sanding the clear plastic surface with the polish and polishing liquid.
The Disc-Go-Pod comes with the base machine with a lid that has the spindle and disc cushion inside where you clamp down the disc and a small pump in a reservoir on the back. The kit also includes a cleaning tool, soft cloth, four polishing wheels, cleaner, manual and DVD with a manual and video instructions.

The Disc-Go-Pod works easily by pumping the polish from the small tank on back and spinning the disc to have the two polishing wheels rub on the top of the disc which is in the machine upside down or with the read side up. The polishing wheels are connected to the lid with two screw knobs that adjust the pressure on the disc to allow the wheels to spin.
Small pins inside the polishing knob on top will spin when the polishing wheels inside are spinning to show you have the correct pressure on the disc. If either pin stops spinning back up on the knob until it starts again or turn in until the pin spins and then slows and then back off until they spin freely.
Adjusting the pins for free spinning is very easy and once you have done your first disc it is very easy to see what they mean in the video and instruction. The Disc-Go-Pod is very easy to use and cleanup is just as simple once your disc is repaired, empty the polishing compound and run clean water through it.
If the scratches have not been removed by one run through the machine you can simply reinstall it and try the repair cycle again. I found that deeper scratches may take a few cycles to run through but it did not take more than three to get the worst discs I have back to non skip and readable condition.
