Putting plumbers putty on the sink will be an exercise from days gone by of Play-Doh and other squishy fun toys from your childhood. Just put a small bead and tighten till it squeezes out all around the drain. Once it is tightened remove the excess with a putty knife or even a plastic knife and just throw the plastic knife when finished.
Once the first drain piece is in place screw the other in with the rubber o-ring in the slot to seal between the two pieces. The drain assembly and the drain stopper parts installs easily by just following the directions with the really good pictorial diagrams to show you how to install the drain opener.
All the directions are in simple to follow pictures that have a few words added for a couple of steps but mostly it’s all pictures. For those of us, myself included, that like having simple instructions and step by step pictures these types of manual and instructions are fantastic.
Once installed the faucet worked very well and looks great, much better than those cheap ones you buy for $20 or so. The faucet is nice with the high arc to be able to get your hands under the water stream without knocking them into the faucet spout. You really do have a lot more room under the spout for washing and whatever else you want to do in the bathroom sink.
The Moen Quinn bathroom faucet complies with the American with Disabilities Act for the handles and is also warranted for life for the cartridge and finish in normal residential use. The faucet is warranted for five years in commercial use as well.
The Moen Quinn is a very elegant looking faucet and well worth the cost for a better working and nicer looking faucet. I have been turning a corner and have been able to review these well built and elegant types of products that I would normally not be able to afford.
