Sennheiser is a premium headphone manufacturer with plenty of great performing products under their belt and the PC350 Headphone Set is no different. The PC350 is the more affordable computer or travel headphone from Sennheiser using the common 3.5mm stereo jack connection with both a headset and microphone.
Gaming enthusiasts will enjoy the high quality earphones and comfortable fit as well as the great clear voice communication of the built in microphone. Audiophiles will enjoy the crisp clean high notes and deep bass of the excellent quality headphones as well as the great noise cancelling feature.
The Sennheiser PC350 Headphones are a really nice quality headset that includes the microphone on a swivel boom that is adjustable and six inches long. The microphone swivels around so it points upward out of the way when not in use and connects with the additional 3.5mm gold plated connection.
Both the 3.5mm connections are color coded for easy identification and are gold plated for quality connections to your PC, stereo system, MP3 player or other audio device. The cable is nine feet long and has a volume control and on/off control for the microphone inline on the cable that is about two feet from the headset.
The headphones include a nice easy to remove ear pad set for comfortable listening and the ear pads are easy to order if they wear out. They are made of leather like material and are comfortable for hours of listening enjoyment and include a head pad on the arch of the headset for top of the head comfort.
The headphones are very comfortable and fit nicely on my head without any unwanted movement as I have found on some headsets and have swivel points on both ear pieces for folding convenience. The headset is perfect for travel and use on airplanes, on the go for gaming and other uses wherever you could want some excellent noise cancelling headphones that are great quality and comfortable.
The quality of the Sennheiser PC350 is great with the 150 ohm internal speakers and the microphone works clearly while gaming or just talking over VOIP programs. I tried out the headset for both regular music enjoyment and gaming using several games on my computer and PlayStation 3 with very good results.
The microphone is quite clear over the gaming systems like Teamspeak 2 and works well for voice communication like VOIP or Skype. I had no problems with communicating and hearing myself clearly from one computer to another in a little test where I connected the microphone to one computer and listened on another to myself speaking.
The Sennheiser PC350 does equally well with gaming and music with good clear high tones and deep bass and good mid tones for a good broad range of clear sound. I found the headphones work equally well for gaming on my computer and my PS3 for a great gaming experience.
The Sennheiser PC350 is a great quality headset for use with a PC or any other device that uses the 3.5mm stereo plugs and is quite comfortable. The headset works very well for both music and gaming with the clear and good quality microphone for an overall well made headset.
The Sennheiser PC350 does cost a bit much at about $150 to $180 depending on where you purchase them but they are an excellent quality and very well made. I highly recommend the Sennheiser PC350 Headset for a high quality, well made headset that includes the microphone for gaming and communication.
