I could not ask for a better way to protect my valuable electronics while traveling or just taking things to the office than a Pelican Case like the 1510LOC Laptop Overnight Case. The Pelican Case is made from tough Polypropylene copolymer that is tough and chemical resistant for maximum protection.
The case features a carry on size for FAA regulations allowing you to use this as your carryon luggage as well as being able to hold a regular 15” laptop computer. You can also carry a 17 inch widescreen laptop in the case without the padded laptop computer sleeve in a few different ways.

The Pelican Laptop Overnight Case 1510LOC is a large copolymer case at 22x13.81x9 inches with polyurethane wheels and retractable handle.
The interior dimensions of the case are 19.72x11x7.6 inches without the included sleeve or carry cases that can Velcro into the Pelican Case. The laptop sleeve holds a regular 14 or 15 inch laptop and not only has two Velcro strips to secure it to the lid but a web strap with Velcro ends to secure your laptop while in the sleeve on the lid.
Another small bag is included for peripherals or personal items that is about 11 inches long, five inches wide and 2 inches tall and secures to the lid on the area the laptop sleeve is not covering. The small bag or pouch secures to the lid with Velcro and a large removable case insert is included that can be used for your personal belongings like clothes or other equipment.
This case insert is a fabric sided and plastic contoured insert that has recesses for the wheel wells and retractable handle spots that are recessed in the case. The removable case insert fits in only one way and has a cloth top with a two zippered lid which opens easily with the handle between both zippers.
A 17 inch laptop will not fit well with a padded sleeve but does fit just fine inside the insert at a slant and would only require some clothes or additional items to fit under it for a little support. While this case is not made well for the 17 inch laptops it can fit one with or without the main case insert but if you are planning on having a larger laptop in the case often you may look to other cases from Pelican.
For those 14 or 15 inch laptops this case is perfect and much more than that it is fantastic for a carryon luggage solution that combines handy access for quick inspections and protection. The case will handle rough treatment with its plastic like copolymer construction and resist spills and water as well as the air and temperature changes involved with travel.
The Pelican Case has a pressure equalization valve that is watertight as well as the main o ring seal on the lid to provide a watertight seal to keep your valuables protected. The lid has latches that are tough and strong and will not be breaking easily with constant use or wear.
There are two lockable loops on each side of the latches to secure your luggage in transit with a stainless steel clip to protect the loops from cutting and allow easy locking using a padlock or luggage lock. The two carry handles are rubber coated for hand comfort and the retractable handle for use with the wheels operates easily with one hand.
The wheels are smooth and just tilting the case on the one side will allow you to roll it around whether from laying flat on the bottom or from the tall end up position.
