Lindy CPU Switch Lite

The CPU Switch Lite Audio comes with the KVM Switch box itself, the manual and four all in one cables that include the VGA, mouse, keyboard and microphone connections. The cables are a simple and easy way to manage the cabling going to the CPU Lite box and each computer system. The cables are a single cable with separate ends for each connection to reduce clutter and mess as well as making it simple to hook up the CPU Lite box and your systems. The cable ends split off with plenty of length to connect everything on the computer back so there is no problem with reaching all the connections.
To install and get the system working takes a very short time; just connect your monitor, keyboard, mouse and microphone to the end connections of the CPU Lite switch box and the four cables to the box and your systems. Each end that connects to the CPU Switch Lite has the VGA connection and the two PS/2 connections while the computer end has the VGA, PS/2 for mouse and keyboard and the audio connections for line out and microphone.
When using the CPU Switch Lite all you have to do is power up your computers and the CPU Lite will come on from their power, one of the power lights will show which computer is currently going to the monitor and peripherals. To change to another computer all you have to do is press the red button on the CPU Switch Lite or press the scroll lock button twice quickly.
This way you don’t even need to have the CPU Lite box in arms reach, just use your keyboard to change from one computer to the next. The computers switch from 1 to 4 in order so it is simple and quick to go from one to the next, it also does not take very long, a few seconds for computers to recognize the switch. Once the system was up and running on my two computers and Xbox 360 it would only take about five seconds for the computer to switch to the new keyboard, mouse and audio.
The systems may take longer depending on your setup and computer but it is just like plug and play devices using a simple mouse and keyboard and should not take long at all to switch from one to the other. I also tried out the CPU Lite using some USB keyboards and mice but only have one adapter so could only do the one at a time.
The PS/2 to USB adapter worked just fine as a mouse or keyboard connection and the switch did not even notice I was using something different, the switch worked just fine with the keyboard or mouse as a USB device using an adapter. Which brings up the next product from Lindy that has come out since I have received this one, the Lindy CPU Switch Lite with audio and USB connections. You can check out the other CPU KVM switches at the Lindy website to see which version would be right for your system and situation.
The Lindy CPU Switch Lite Audio is a great and easy way to control up to four computers from one monitor, keyboard, mouse and speaker microphone setup. The CPU Switch Lite is easy to use and the cables reduce clutter with the all in one solution for each computer you’re connecting. I highly recommend the CPU Lite for any kind of multiple computer situations and Lindy has several different KVM switches for just about any system setup.
