The Ergotron Neo-Flex All-In-One Lift Stand is the best way I have seen for the gamer on the go for truly portable gaming. The stand is also handy for those professionals who use a ultra small form factor computer in the field for quick and easy deployment of your computer system.
The All-In-One can carry a small computer and monitor with keyboard and mouse for the truly portable business or a gaming system. The monitor mount is your universal type for 75 or 100 MM mount holes and the back of the stand houses an area for your console or computer system. The strap ensures the computer does not slide off and secures it during travel for a truly portable computer stand.
The mount for the monitor is on the stands arm and moves up and down as well as tilts forward and back and rotates from horizontal to vertical for the monitor to be in either position. The adjustment for tilt and height is also held in place by an adjustable spring so you can add or remove tension if the monitor slips in these two axis or is too hard to adjust.
The stand has the adjustments for the tension on the height sliding as well as the tilt so you can adjust how much force is required to tilt or slide your monitor on the stand. If the monitor tilts by itself simply turn one of the two screws for each axis and it will stop the tilt or height from adjusting by itself. The adjustment is easy to do while the monitor is on your stand and makes for a great way to adjust your monitor on the fly quickly.
The Ergotron Neo-Flex does great job as a regular monitor stand as well as your portable system solution for a truly universal stand. The stand adjusts in height and tilt for three axis of adjustment so you can use your monitor in the most comfortable ergonomic position. The stand as a regular monitor stand for a desk or table in a permanent position is nice to be able to hold your keyboard out of the way under the monitor when not in use and your mouse in front of that on the base of the stand.
The rear of the stand where you place the computer is rubber padded to preserve the finish of your computer or console and has the strap to secure your computer or system to the stand. The stand can hold an ultra small form factor computer system up to a 14 by 14 by 4 inch computer which is the size of computers used for portable computing by professionals.
The stand can hold a monitor from 15 to 25 inches and weighs about 8 pounds without any monitor or console attached. The Neo Flex stand does a great job with large monitors like the 22 inch widescreen I have as a regular desktop stand like I am currently using it. The portability also makes a great way to carry your console gaming system and I also tried the Neo Flex stand out with both my PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 without any problems.
