The NZXT Performance Power 800 watt power supply is a nice if not overly flashy power supply with all the power requirements and connections for the wide variety of today’s and tomorrow’s computer needs. If you need the amperage draining power of the SLI or Crossfire with the biggest and best graphics set ups or the power draw of the newest quad core processors the PP800 PSU from NZXT is a great candidate.
The NZXT PP800 power supply is a plain looking but great power supply that performs well for a wide variety of computer setups with the full range of connections for all the devices you could have. The PSU features four 12 volt rails, EPS 12v ready, PCI-E 6 and 8 pin ready, SLI and Crossfire ready including the NVidia 8800GTX and ATI 2900HD cards.
The low noise 80mm and 120mm fans are really quiet inside the computer; my ATI HD3870 fan is louder than the entire PSU. The PP800 has all the current, overload and short protection and is 78% efficient at peak load. The power supply complies with Intel ATX and BTX standards as well as the SLI standards and the 2.91 ATX standard.
