NZXT Cryo LX Notebook Cooler

The aluminum is a nice thick 3mm with plenty of angles and folds to add to the overall strength of the product. The lower section does fold over and for moving your notebook around on the cooler this could be a bit difficult but it adds to the portability of the cooler. The cooler sits at a very good angle for ease of typing for long periods of time to help reduce wrist strain.
The three 120 mm fans are adjustable in speed by the thumbwheel on the right side of the cooler for just the right amount of cooling or quiet operation. The cooler allows for placement of the larger widescreen notebook computers like the 19 inch widescreens. The large rubber pads that run up and down from the corners allow for better placement and non slip surface for the bottom of your notebook computer.
The rubber pads that your notebook rests on also allows for more space between the aluminum of the cooler and your notebook which makes a lot more sense. Too many notebook and laptop coolers I have seen do not allow enough space between the cooler and the surface of the notebook. Due to the variations of vent spacing in many different laptops it can be hit or miss on whether the vent holes in the cooler will match up with the fans.
On the NZXT Cryo LX there will be little worry about matching these vents with the bottom vents of your notebook, there is a large area on the cooler with vents. The cooler works pretty well but not as great as other coolers I have tried, I saw about two to four degrees lower temperatures on the core of an Asus Aspire 5000 while sitting at idle and running some stress tests without the fans.
