I have to admit there are a lot of good ideas in The Freedom Formula even if you do not subscribe to the higher being or God ruling the universe idea. Christine Kloser uses her higher being to help her along a path to business success by using a simple formula.
This Freedom Formula is simply a look at business and its practices by adding in religious beliefs and not just simple business math to guide your success. There is a lot here for anyone wanting to succeed in business or starting out their own business.
This somewhat religious look at business may not be for everyone but there are some good ideas here even if you look past the higher power or God theology. For anyone not religious or not willing to open themselves up to new ideas this may be a waste of time but anyone who wants to make their business succeed should be open to something.
I like a lot of the ideas and the Action Guide Exercises that will open up your eyes to things in your business in a new way. These exercises are a simple way to put down on paper what your business goals are and ways to make your business succeed.
Other parts of the book discuss a higher being and how that relates to your business and what your business is accomplishing in the grand scheme of things. You also look at your business from the standpoint of making money or doing good so you get a clear look at whether your business is doing what it’s supposed to like making money.
Clearly if you’re not going to be open to the ideas of a spiritual side of your business or a higher being in charge of the universe than most of what’s here will not be worthwhile. There are a lot of good ideas without the spiritual or religious stuff like does your business really make money or is it just a hobby in the guise of a business.
One idea I really liked and that really caught my eye as well as changed my idea of the book from the start was that you have to put your soul and heart into your business or it is destined to fail. This basic idea stood out to me as a basic part of any business whether you believe in a higher being or not, you have to make your business succeed.
Christine Kloser goes through several exercises in the book to help you with your business as well as trying to get you motivated and ready to work on your business and make it succeed. The Freedom Formula is not just a way to add Zen or yoga to your business model but how you should be conducting your business with your whole spirit and heart so it does the best it can.
